While we always need to keep in mind Juli’s warning not to socialize too much (we are professionals on the job, as it were) we can also socialize too little and become just another link spammer. Well said, Cory! I agree with Bhushan too. Being a link spammer for our primary opportunity turns people off really fast, and it’s a great way to lose our friends quickly. Like you, I try to maintain a balance between being a professional and being a real person. That’s the wonderful thing about social network marketing. When we hit the sweet spot and find that balance, we can generate leads, provide even more value through email, and start to earn those commissions we are wanting. Isn’t it great that in this professions we can earn money by helping others and being ourselves?
