Get More Blog Traffic by Guest BloggingSuccessful MLM bloggers are always on the lookout for better and more diverse ways to get more blog traffic. The reason for this is that the more blog traffic you get to your MLM blog the greater chance you will have to get people to opt into your list. The more people who opt into your list, the greater chance you will have to grow your Network Marketing business.

Many Internet Network Marketers prefer to use social media marketing and SEO (search engine optimization) to get more blog traffic. The problem with these methods is that some Internet Network Marketers think all it takes is posting status updates and keyword stuffing to generate more traffic to their blog. The truth is these are probably the worst things that you can do.

When you constantly post self promoting status updates and tweets, you look spammy. After a while, your fans, friends, and followers will simply ignore your message. You will at that point suffer from “ad blindness”.

You also have to be careful about old SEO techniques. Keyword stuffing, purchasing backlinks, and creating backlinks on non-relevant sites will hurt you rather than help. With all the recent changes to the search engines algorithms, these tactics no longer work. They may have a few years ago, but they are no longer the best way to gain exposure online for your Internet Network Marketing business. If you are suspected of trying to manipulate the search engines, your site will lose rankings and could be de-indexed altogether.

So what is the best way to get more traffic to your MLM blog?

Get More Blog Traffic by Guest Blogging

Get More Blog Traffic by Guest BloggingIn the Internet Network Marketing arena some of the most successful marketers have used guest blogging to gain more exposure, get more blog traffic, and grow their MLM list.

The reason guest blogging is so effective in getting more blog traffic is that if the MLM blog you are guest blogging on has a lot of readers, there is good chance they will visit your MLM blog because of the interesting and valuable content that you wrote. Because you have intrigued them with good content, they will want to read more. If you give them reason enough to come back often to your site, they will consistently want to learn more about you and read new posts that you write. Eventually, you will begin to create a community of followers who may become interested in your Network Marketing business. This will be the result of guest posting content that is of good quality and value.

In terms of SEO, there is a lot of competition to get high rankings these days. It is almost an uphill battle. By guest blogging you can almost circumvent the “rankings battle” and leverage traffic from an already established site. Guest blogging will not only give you quality backlinks back to your MLM blog (which is what Google wants), but you will be able to “piggy back” off the traffic from the MLM site you are guest blogging on.

How To Become a Guest Blogger to Get More Blog Traffic

1. Guest Blog for Bloggers in Your Niche

The best way to become a guest blogger is to contact successful bloggers in the MLM niche. Ask successful Internet Network Marketing bloggers if they would allow you to write a guest post for their site. If they are willing, they may be open to returning the favor and writing a guest post for your MLM blog. Approach the opportunity with an “I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine” mentality. You could even let each other guest post on a regular basis which not only will get you great exposure but will help each other develop fresh and new content for your MLM blogs. This is a great way to leverage other Internet Network Marketing traffic to get more blog traffic to your site. This will facilitate the ultimate goal of generating more leads for your business.

The post you write as a guest blogger should be targeted to the specific audience that each successful MLM blogger attracts. You should provide valuable information that would be helpful to the site owner’s readers. Try not to make it too self promoting. “How To…” articles work great. The essential key is to make it relevant for the specific MLM site.

From there, you can write a blurb at the bottom of the post with a short bio about yourself and your business and a link leading back to your site.

Here is an example a good bio box:

Jane Doe is a successful Internet Network Marketing blogger who teaches MLM lead generation tactics to grow your Network Marketing business online. Jane Doe provides a full service marketing and branding platform that specializes in helping Multi-Level Marketers advertise more effectively. To learn more about Jane, you can visit her site here (insert link here).

2. Join a Guest Blogging Community

Another way to become a guest blogger is to become a free member of  a guest blogging community. The following are just two examples.

a. The Content Facilitator

The Content Facilitator is a guest blogging marketplace. You can submit content to The Content Facilitator for other bloggers to use on their site, and you can get quality, unique (and non-spun) articles for your own blog. You can browse for content written for those who want to reach a larger audience and get some backlinks in the process.

Get More Blog Traffic by Guest BloggingThe Content Facilitator runs on a credit system. This means membership is free for both writers and those looking for content. Every time one of your articles is picked up by a blog owner, credits are deducted from your balance. This means you don’t end up with hundreds of duplicate articles being published at once, creating an unnatural link profile. You can earn credits by referring new members to The Content Facilitator and by publishing others’ content.

My favorite feature of The Content Facilitator is the ability to set your article as “unique”, meaning it can only be published by one member in the marketplace. Writing “unique” articles for The Content Facilitator, therefore, provides a strong incentive for other members to pick up your content and publish it before it’s gone. The Content Facilitator is in its infancy at the moment, and I predict it will get much bigger and more popular in the coming months. Remember, the early bird catches the worm!

b. MyBlogGuest

Get More Blog Traffic by Guest BloggingMyBlogGuest article gallery offers a huge data base of articles that are published by other My Blog Guest users. You will be able to choose the articles you want to add to your own blog. If you want to contribute your own articles, you will be able to choose who will publish your work. 3. Guest Blog on This Blog

Finally, if you are interested in becoming a guest blogger on my blog, please, leave a comment at the end of this post. Somewhere within your comment write: “I want to be a guest blogger”. Share with us who you are, what you usually blog about, and why I should consider adding a piece of your original content to my blog. Once I have reviewed your blog from the link you provide through Comment Luv and feel a piece of your original content may be a nice addition to this site, I will contact you for additional information using the contact information you provide on your blog. Please, be prepared to give me the topic you would most like to write about. If I feel compelled to add it to my site, we will work out the details, including permission to provide feedback prior to final publication.

Any way you do it, guest blogging is a sure fire way to get more blog traffic!
